What is Adobe Dreamweaver?
Adobe Dreamweaver is used for developing websites and web applications and is part of the Adobe Suite. Its powerful coding environment and visual interface enables designers and developers at all levels to create engaging and dynamic websites for multiple devices.
The following courses are available for the Adobe Dreamweaver application. You can choose one of the standard courses or choose ‘Design your own’ where you can pick and mix chapters. All class based courses also include access to our online workrooms and to the online course for 3 months.
Dreamweaver CS4
Overview
The skills and knowledge acquired in Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 are sufficient to create robust web sites. Particular attention is paid to the initial creation of the web site, incorporating text and images.
Target Audience
Adobe Dreamweaver Version CS4 is designed for users who are keen to know how to create and maintain web sites. It is ideal for people who work in offices, schools, corporations or clubs, where there is a need to have and maintain a web site.
Pre-requisites
Adobe Dreamweaver Version CS4 assumes little or no knowledge of the software. However, it would be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment.
Objectives
- Understand the key aspects and components of a business website
- Open files and work effectively with the Dreamweaver workspace
- Learn how to define a new Dreamweaver site
- Work effectively with text
- Create and edit CSS rules and apply them to text
- Manage the typography in your site using CSS
- Insert, position and edit images
- Create and work with hyperlinks on a web page
- Design and lay out your web pages using CSS
- Create and work with tables in a web page
- Create and use online forms
- Create and work with Dreamweaver templates
- Insert prebuilt scripts and spry elements to increase the interactivity of your site
- Insert useful meta tags into pages
- run management reports and publish your site

Two hour training session…..choose any 3 chapters
Half day training session…….choose any 5 chapters
Full day training session…….choose any 11 chapters
The pricing for your course will be based on our standard pricing. You will not be charged any extra for this service.

There are a number of car parks surrounding the centre including the Gallowgate car park and Loch Street car park.
You can walk to F1plus by turning onto Broad Street from Union Street. Most Aberdeen bus services will take you to either Union Street, Broad Street or Loch Street.
